Modified (reconstructed) Fine-line veneer consists of thin sheets of certain sizes produced by a certain technology, including: planing, bleaching, painting, gluing, pressing veneer from the wood of the fast-growing African tree abacha (abashi), as well as poplar or linden. The process is quite complicated and lengthy, but at the final stage it allows you to obtain a material with fixed dimensions and a repeating structure.
Many manufacturers prefer to use natural materials in their production, but they are faced with numerous customer requests for product uniformity. Since it is a well-known fact that there are no identical trees, and the structure of oak-beech-ash wood is always unique, it follows from this that it is impossible to make all products from natural materials similar to each other. This is exactly the task performed by the modified (reconstructed) veneer fine line. Being essentially a natural material, it allows you to create a uniform structure in large volumes of material.
Moreover, it allows you to imitate the structure of exclusive and expensive breeds such as rosewood, makassar, zebrano, snake tree, etc. Of course, the natural veneer of the above-mentioned rocks has a deeper structure and a palette of shades, but in the end it turns out very similar and, most importantly, several times cheaper.
The main production of fine line modified (reconstructed) veneer is located in China. This is due to the fact that the main raw material for this veneer is Abacha wood, whose plantations are located in Africa and large quantities of logs are shipped by sea to China. In other countries, such as Italy or Spain, there is also a production of modified (reconstructed) fine line veneer, but the cost of finished veneer is much more expensive.
