Natural veneer consists of thin strips of wood produced by planing logs, peeling or sawing. The veneer thickness can vary from 0.2 mm to 12-15 mm. Natural veneer is used in furniture production, production of musical instruments and sports equipment, carpentry, construction and restoration.

The main objective of using natural veneer is to reduce costs in the production of natural wood products and create products with more stable performance characteristics.

Until recently, various exotic African breeds such as Anegri, Sapele, Makore, Sukupira, etc. were in demand on the market. At the moment, the trend is set by only three Oak-beech-ash positions, from which 90 percent of veneered products in Russia are produced.  All of the above items can be purchased at our warehouse.

According to the cut and pattern structure, natural veneer can be divided into several categories:

CROWN or Tangential is a designation meaning a pattern on the veneer structure obtained as a result of the planing process, which demonstrates the pronounced ring structure of wood. Annual rings are folded into a pyramidal, oval or round pattern.

A QUATRTER or radial (straight-layered) pattern on the veneer structure obtained as a result of the planing process, which demonstrates the straight structure of the wood, the fibers run along the sheet, almost parallel to the edges of the veneer sheet.

HALF – CROWN is a semi–radial (semi-tangential, semi-tangential) pattern on the veneer structure obtained as a result of the planing process, which demonstrates a combination of the first two categories.
